Are you or a loved one suffering from addictions?
The good news is Alcoholics & Addicts can recover if they treat their illness. The program of recovery is set up to provide a daily reprieve contingent on your spiritual condition. There is no cure, but there is treatment.
There are a few simple requirements to stop and stay stopped. While this may sound simple, it is not necessarily easy. Alcoholism is one of the only diseases I know of that makes you think you do not have it.
The Alcoholic suffers from an allergy of the body and an obsession of the mind. Once any sort of mind-altering substance is consumed a physical craving sets in that then triggers the obsession of the mind.
Therefore, abstinence is required. Once the body is separated from the substance, the mental obsession can then be treated with a program of recovery. This simple program of recovery will also ensure the mental state needed to avoid picking up the substance again and thereby triggering the physical craving.
This website was created to be a hub of resources and information for Alcoholics and Addicts as well as a supportive community for the friends and families affected by the disease of Alcoholism and Addiction.
